TIP FOR STARTING THE DAY

One of the first things I do when I wake up in the morning - apart from check for the sunrise! - is sit on the side of the bed and do a Mermaid stretch, a powerful exercise that brings your upper body into a side bend or lateral flexion. It helps to release any tension you may have in your back, improves the mobility of your spine, stretches out the intercostal muscles between your ribs that help with your breathing… and it feels great!
