At Lake Hood Pilates we strive for each persons best posture, balance, flexibility and strength. We want everyone to leave feeling better than when they walked in... taller, more balanced, moving with more grace and ease, stronger and with a sense of calmness that allows you to take on the rest of your day.

When Joseph Pilates wrote that whole body health could be achieved through exercise, proper nutrition, enough sleep, good hygiene, getting plenty of exercise and fresh air in nature, and a balance of work, recreation and relaxation, he was considering the whole person, not just the way they moved.

Our Philosophy

​

At Lake Hood Pilates we want to make Pilates as easy as possible to fit into your life. Think about how you can add Pilates - or any movement - into your day, just like drinking more water or adding in more vegetables... all subtle but game-changing ways of looking after yourself.

​

We do this by offering 8 Mat classes and 4 Combo classes a week at our friendly purpose built studio, with a maximum of 6 people in a Mat class and 4 people in a Combo class at any one time. Our Combo classes are a 45 minute class that encompasses the reformer, spine corrector, mat and roller all in one class!

 

If you are unable to make your chosen class time one week, simply let us know and we can offer alternative times so you don't miss out on your weekly Pilates.

Flexible class times

You can join classes any time throughout the year, not just at the beginning of a term. 

​

Come along for a complimentary introductory session before you start and we'll go over your goals, assess how you move, and run through a few exercises designed to help choose the perfect class for you.

​

Our classes are designed to be different each week, to challenge the mind and body in different ways.
